Each of our mentors are battle-tested leaders from military and emergency service backgrounds who’ve thrived in the toughest environments. They bring real-world experience, hard-earned lessons, and the ability to cut through the noise to give you clarity, confidence, and results.

Mark Ormrod MBE

A former Royal Marines Commando and the UK’s first triple amputee from Afghanistan, I’ve rebuilt my life as a motivational speaker, athlete, author, and charity fundraiser—winning 11 Invictus Games medals, setting a world record swimming with one arm, and raising over £4 million for veterans’ causes. Honoured with an MBE and a Pride of Britain Award, I now use my platform to inspire resilience, share my belief that mindset is everything, and show what’s possible when you refuse to quit.

Gina Allsop

Gina Allsop is a former Royal Signals Engineer and Special Reconnaissance Regimental Operator who have been deployed on many operations during her service. She won the esteemed Soldiering On “Inspirational Award 2022 and recently won the Veterans Awards, Volunteer of the Year 2023” for her charity and volunteering work with military, youth and animal charities.

She is a highly skilled and motivated security professional with an unblemished military and private sector career spanning 30 years. She has an abundance of experience managing surveillance operations, directing close protection tasks, leading security projects and working as a highly respected professional security trainer.

Gina is a natural leader but her reserved and empathetic personality gives her a professional, assertive and mature approach to training adults. Her expert knowledge and passion shines out when she teaches surveillance and other subjects. Her innate ability to observe and listen to the students she is teaching allows her to effectively deliver lessons to individuals of all learning styles. This approach benefits learners whose native language is not English and also elevates any peers and co trainers who work alongside her.

Our aim is to equip our highly skilled clinicians with practical mental and physical tools to help them thrive in high-pressure environments, while also strengthening team cohesion. Yesterday’s Resilience Day was a reflection of that commitment. We were honoured to be joined by Mark Ormrod, whose powerful story of resilience deeply resonated with the team.
